Romaine Empire, Inc. d/b/a Farmer’s Fridge (“Farmer’s Fridge”) and its affiliates prefer to recruit candidates directly. Farmer’s Fridge may, from time to time, seek assistance from temporary staffing agencies, placement services, and professional recruiters (collectively, an “Agency”). Agencies are hereby specifically directed not to contact any Farmer’s Fridge employees directly in an attempt to present candidates.
To protect the interests of all parties, Farmer’s Fridge will not accept unsolicited resumes from any source other than directly from a candidate. Any unsolicited resumes sent to Farmer’s Fridge, including unsolicited resumes sent to a Farmer’s Fridge mailing address, fax machine or email address, directly to Farmer’s Fridge employees, or to Farmer’s Fridge’s online resume database will be considered Farmer’s Fridge property. Farmer’s Fridge will not pay a fee for any placement resulting from the receipt of an unsolicited resume. Farmer’s Fridge will consider any candidate for whom an Agency has submitted an unsolicited resume to have been referred by the Agency free of any charges or fees.
Agencies must obtain advance written approval from Farmer’s Fridge to submit resumes, and then only in conjunction with a valid fully executed Farmer’s Fridge placement contract and in response to a specific job opening. For the avoidance of doubt, Farmer’s Fridge will not pay any fees unless there is a fully-executed written contract in place signed by a duly authorized officer of Farmer’s Fridge. This employer participates in E-Verify and will provide the federal government with your Form I-9 information to confirm that you are authorized to work in the U.S. If E-Verify cannot confirm that you are authorized to work, this employer is required to give you written instructions and an opportunity to contact Department of Homeland Security (DHS) or Social Security Administration (SSA) so you can begin to resolve the issue before the employer can take any action against you, including terminating your employment.
Employers can only use E-Verify once you have accepted a job offer and completed the Form I-9.
